Shoe of the week: Paula ♥

Meet Paula, our shoe of the week that just arrived to Loly!

We were inspired by Zooey Deschanel's perfect look for this weekend: a casual party or a romantic dinner.
A navy tulle and strapless dress, a light cardigan for the cold, and a small purse that you can carry around and obviously, Paula!

Every day is to celebrate and Paula can't be missing in your Loly collection.  It's a versatile Loly, that you could easily combine with all your closet. ♥

¡MANI DAY! ♥

Denia Martinez crea este look para tus uñas inspirado en nuestros Lailas. Como toda una Loly...¡Siempre sabe cómo mezclar nuestros colores favoritos: azul marino y el plateado! ♥

¡Disfruta tus Lolys con este lindo mani!

Pasos:

1. Aplica una capa de esmalte plateado como base en cada uña, y espera a que seque completamente.
2. Corta pequeñas tiras de cintilla adhesiva para decoración de uñas. Pega una tira horizontal en la uña del dedo índice y otra en la del anular, y en la uña del dedo medio pega la tira verticalmente.
3. Con el esmalte azul marino aplica una capa en cada uña (incluso sobre las cintillas adhesivas).
4. Retira las cintillas adhesivas.
5. Aplica una capa de brillo sobre tus uñas.

¡VOILÁ! ♥

MANI DAY! ♥ 

Denia Martinez (our fave Mani Loly Girl) creates this look inspired by our Lailas. Just like a Loly girl...always knows how to mix and match our fave colors: navy and silver!    

Apply this easy and simple Mani to go with your Lailas!

Steps:

1. Apply a silver base coat to your nails and wait to dry completely.
2. Cut small strips of adhesive tape used for nail decoration. Paste one across the pointer nail, one across the ring finger nail and one straight down the middle nail.
3. With the navy polish apply a coat over your nails (including the ones with the strips).
4. Remove the adhesive tapes.
5. Add a top coat to protect your manicure.

Seguro se preguntan: ¿cómo surge la magia detrás un zapato de Loly in the Sky? / 

Its not uncommon for us to get the question “How do you make the magic behind a Loly in the Sky shoe come to life?" 

Si lo vieramos como un cuento, todo empieza desde la creatividad e imaginación de nuestra diseñadora (Lorena Vázquez) y las plasma en su famoso libro de bocetos... Después, lo mejor está por venir pero preferimos no contarles sino enseñarles este pequeño video dónde se muestra la magia de Loly in the Sky. Aunque está en inglés,  para que pudieran entendernos todas nuestras Loly Girls alrededor del mundo (El video se mandó a Japón, Arabia Saudita, Canadá y Estados Unidos) queremos compartirlo con ustedes que son el corazón de Loly in the sky.

Looking back at how this dream came true, we thought it would be nice to share this amazing video with our Loly girls around the world.  It's a small peak into Mexican craftmanship making beautiful shoes for you! 

If it were a fairy-tale, it would have started start with our amazing designer (Lorena Vazquez) as a girl who captures incredible illustrations in her diary as she lets her creativity and imagination flow.  Then, the best thing is yet to come…but we won’t tell you.  We’ll let you watch this video and experience the magic for yourself!  

Nuestros zapatos están hechos a mano con muchísimo amor y todo el equipo trabajamos con muchísimo esfuerzo para ofrecer lo mejor. 

Lo único que le falta a nuestros Lolys es encontrar a su dueña.

Una Loly Girl en la ciudad ♥

¿Vacaciones en la Gran Manzana? Y si no, ¡este look es perfecto para cualquier ocasión en cualquier ciudad del mundo!

Una falda negra (de encaje lo hace más sweet) con un crop-top mediano (para enseñar sólo un poco de piel) y con una chaqueta de mezclilla por si refresca, es perfecto para pasar desde un desayuno hasta un drink con tus amigas por la noche. La combinación perfecta con accesorios negros un toque dorado y por supuesto, lo que no pueden faltar son ¡tus Lolys!

A Loly Girl in the city ♥

Headed to the Big Apple? If not, who cares! This look is quite perfect for any city in the world and practically for any type of plan.

A black mini (lace always gives it a sweet touch) with a mid-length crop top (just a sneak peek) and a cute jean jacket, just in case you get chilly, fits in great from brunch to your after-office with your girlfriends! 

Don't forget the frosting with black (a touch of gold wouldn't hurt) accessories, and of course, your Lolys!

Conozcan a Amanda Crew, actriz de la nueva serie de HBO: Silicon Valley. Originaria de Canadá pero que vive actualmente en California, definitvamente sabe cómo combinar su par favoritos de Lolys (Elvira) con un vestido muy cute y un artículo muy indispensable: su cámara.

Lo que muchos no saben de nuestra multifacética Loly Girl es que aparte de ser actriz, le encanta la fotografía; de hecho comparte sus esenciales en el artículo de la revista Zooey.
Además tiene un blog (Granny Girls) de cocina, repostería y manualidades junto a su amiga y actriz, Amber Borycki.

What many do not know is that our multifaceted Loly Girl loves photography: she actually shares her essentials on Zooey Magazine.
She also has a blog (Granny Girls) of cooking, baking, and crafts with her friend and actress, Amanda Borycki.

1. Aplica una base de esmalte color rosa claro como fondo.

2. Con un esmalte de brillos plateados, aplica la primer capa de brillos cubriendo la uña entera.

3. La segunda capa de brillos comienza a partir de la mitad de la uña hacia la punta.

4. Para finalizar, la última capa de brillos se aplica solamente en la punta de la uña.

ITS MANI DAY AT LOLY! ♥

Apply this easy and simple Mani to go with your Chloe Lolys!

Steps:

1. Apply a pale pink color coat as a background.

2. With a glitter nail polisher, apply the first glitter coat covering the whole nail. 

3. The second glitter coat starts from the middle of the nail all the way to the tip. 

4. Finally the last glitter coat it's only in the tip of the nail.
