Shoe of the week: Paula ♥

Meet Paula, our shoe of the week that just arrived to Loly!

We were inspired by Zooey Deschanel's perfect look for this weekend: a casual party or a romantic dinner.
A navy tulle and strapless dress, a light cardigan for the cold, and a small purse that you can carry around and obviously, Paula!

Every day is to celebrate and Paula can't be missing in your Loly collection.  It's a versatile Loly, that you could easily combine with all your closet. ♥

¿Vacaciones en la Gran Manzana? Y si no, ¡este look es perfecto para cualquier ocasión en cualquier ciudad del mundo!

Una falda negra (de encaje lo hace más sweet) con un crop-top mediano (para enseñar sólo un poco de piel) y con una chaqueta de mezclilla por si refresca, es perfecto para pasar desde un desayuno hasta un drink con tus amigas por la noche. La combinación perfecta con accesorios negros un toque dorado y por supuesto, lo que no pueden faltar son ¡tus Lolys!

A Loly Girl in the city ♥

Headed to the Big Apple? If not, who cares! This look is quite perfect for any city in the world and practically for any type of plan.

A black mini (lace always gives it a sweet touch) with a mid-length crop top (just a sneak peek) and a cute jean jacket, just in case you get chilly, fits in great from brunch to your after-office with your girlfriends! 

Don't forget the frosting with black (a touch of gold wouldn't hurt) accessories, and of course, your Lolys!

You would actually eat it if possible, from her closet to her bedroom! (Nope, we are not kidding!)
She just makes the perfect pastel combination!

Carla Mitchell is our Loly Girl of the week. She is the talented designer behind Lapislazuli http://www.lapislazuliii.blogspot.com. Carla is a great illustrator, and a self-proclaimed cat lover.  Everything Carla creates is beaded by hand. She enjoys experimenting with different textures and design possibilities using various beading techniques. 

Carla is a strong supporter of handmade, she believes it is important to focus on detail and craftsmanship over consumption and the mass-produced.  These are some of the lovely pieces in her collection:

We would describe Carla´s style as classic with a twist. When adding pieces to her closet, she likes to focus on choosing items that are well-made, unique and won't go out of style in six months. Her favorite colors include white, black, navy and beige, as well as bright shades such as yellow and hot pink. She loves combining patterns such as plaid, nautical stripes, gingham, paisley and tartan. When adding accessories to her outfits, she likes to keep it classy and unique.
